I ran into a nice snag with WoW testing, this morning there was a pretty big game update to WoW and servers have been down since about 8AM EST. I knew I should've stayed up longer than I did testing WoW because now I have to go back and rerun most of the tests I've accumulated thus far to deal with the new patch (if it changes performance at all). Despite the setback, I'm hoping to be done with WoW performance testing by the end of today - the one exception being the Mac portion of the tests. I want to get a brief section about Mac performance in the review but it may be pushing it given the setbacks I've had thus far, I'll know more in a few hours.

My Pentium M 770 came in nice and early this morning, so testing on that is already a few hours underway. The ASUS Socket-478 to Socket-479 adapter has been working flawlessly thus far and it seems to be an extremely interesting option, especially for ASUS Pentium 4 motherboard owners since it paves a much more reasonably priced upgrade path to the Pentium M. Performance will be the most interesting aspect however, given that it's the first time I'll have tested a dual channel DDR Pentium M platform. I've still got several hours of WorldBench runs before I can move to the Winstones and SYSMark tests, if I can finish all of those today I'll be in good shape.

I'm in dire need of food right now, so I'll be off scavenging for a bit. I swear one of the most difficult things to do is coming up with new (and good) things to cook/eat instead of repeating the same handful of recipes over and over again.

Either one...cook up a big batch, freeze the leftovers...eat for 2 weeks.

Food site my mom told me about: www.epicurious.com

I hear you in the food department. I shift through about ten different dishes. If I had any kind of time, I would probably cook more variety. At least it's not as bad as my 'Ramen Noodle' college days!

Chicken never gets old for me. Season it over night, and off into the oven it goes the next. Always a good meal :)

The patch did change performance for me... It gets stuck once in a while :(. Looking forward to your review Anand.
